It started with
an international wedding.
QuikRSVP is a free multilingual event RSVP and invitation platform built by a three-person team — Donny, Esther, and Shahar — after planning an international wedding exposed a gap in existing RSVP tools. It began when Esther and Shahar were arranging their own wedding across two countries and languages. Every tool they tried felt like a compromise — clunky translations that didn't sound like them and systems that couldn't handle a global guest list.
Esther brought the challenge to her brother, Donny, an expert in building AI tools like TraitPath (a personality app) and Tube-U (an AI YouTube research tool). Within just two hours, Donny had already sent her a version to test. They saw immediately that the problem Esther and Shahar were facing wasn't just a wedding hurdle — it was a technical gap in the market.
The project drew on Esther's experience organizing international trade missions in partnership with the U.S. Department of Commerce, alongside deep expertise in AI and technical architecture. Together, they shaped those high-stakes requirements into a world-class platform, with Donny building the system from the ground up — turning a solution for one family into a system built for everyone.
The Team Today
A year later, it's no longer just a project — we're a team. We still brainstorm almost daily: Esther leads marketing and business strategy, Donny builds the product, and Shahar makes sure everything works flawlessly before it reaches a guest.
Together, we turned a wedding-weekend project into something that supports 70+ languages with one-click AI translation, WhatsApp bulk messaging, real-time tracking, QR check-in, seating charts, wedding websites, and a gift registry. The multilingual origin is what makes us different — but most people use QuikRSVP for a single language and love it just as much.
