JOIN US FOR THE THEATRICAL PREMIERE OF THE RIGHTEOUS ROAD TRIP SEPT 17 @7:30PM AT THE MONICA FILM CENTER (VERY LIMITED SEATING AVAILABLE!)

THE RIGHTEOUS ROAD TRIP- written, directed & produced by Oscar-winning filmmaker Vanessa Roth, follows a heartwarming and poignant holiday journey across Eastern Europe with Jewish humanitarian Jonny Daniels and his dog, Tyson. Traveling through Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary in a van filled with Christmas trees and gifts, Jonny sets out to visit some of the last of the 60 remaining Righteous Among the Nations—the extraordinary individuals who risked their lives to secretly save Jews during the Holocaust.

Across the 3,000 KM drive and visits into the homes of the last of these remarkable people, the film captures moments of love, humor, and unexpected joy as Jonny reaches across generations, religions, and cultures to hear firsthand accounts of extraordinary moral courage. By honoring these unsung heroes, The Righteous Road Trip offers a moving reflection on empathy, resistance, and humanity’s enduring capacity for goodness. (40 minutes)

*Jonny Daniels & Vanessa Roth will be at the screening for a post screening Q&A
